About
I have been an apparel designer and surface pattern designer for over 20 years while living in Hawaii, New York, California and now Portugal. My love for the outdoors has led me towards working in the surf and swimwear industry throughout my career. I also designed and owned a paper goods and accessories business which was sold at major retailers, as well as small boutiques.
Monique Moran Studio was created to explore surface pattern design throughout home decor, apparel and paper goods. My focus is on creating a colorful world full of nature, art deco and beach culture. My Experience
Many years in the fashion industry as an apparel designer and textile designer has given me expertise within the design and development process. I am fully versed in the printing process, working with factories and creating production ready artwork for a variety of apparel and accessories products. Designing and owning a paper goods / accessories business allowed me to learn about the gift industry, as well as the printing process for paper goods.
