Nazaré, Portugal
Praia do Norte is a beach located in Nazaré, Portugal which is famous for it’s giant waves. The waves are formed due to an underwater canyon that reaches depths of about 5,000 meters with a length of about 140 miles. You can visit year round, but the waves are most impressive between January and March. I love exploring the beach, lighthouse and the town of Nazare.
